Asian and Oceanian Child Neurology Association (AOCNA) established in 1980 is a transnational medical association aimed to promote education, collaboration, research, and development in the field of child neurology. The meeting, since called the Asian and Oceanian Congress for Child Neurology (AOCCN), is now held bi-yearly in different countries and regions. It provides a space for child neurologists in the Asian Oceanian region to come together and share their knowledge and experiences. AOCNA promulgates various projects that utilizes its cross-country network. For instance, AOCNA provides a running list of available specialized medical testing technology in member countries. It also keeps members informed of available training opportunities in various regions. In addition, AOCNA promotes continuing medical education in regions with limited resource by bringing over speakers and hosting workshops on specific topics.
