The British Society for Paediatric Dermatology (BSPD) is an affiliated group of the British Association of Dermatologists and is the only organisation in the UK and Ireland specifically dedicated to Paediatric Dermatology. The Society exists to promote further understanding of skin disease in children and to enhance their care by encouraging education and research in all aspects of paediatric dermatology. As a part of this role, the BSPD holds meetings three times a year, one at the annual conferences of the British Association of Dermatologists, one at the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and has its own Annual Scientific Meeting. Specifically the aims of the organisation are: 1. To stimulate and promote appropriate medical and scientific research and to publish the results of such research 2. To contribute to the education of trainees in dermatology and of scientific workers in the field of dermatology To arrange and provide for the holding of scientific meetings and symposia 3. To raise funds to support these activities
