The Danish Epilepsy Society was founded in 1970 and works for: • to facilitate education in epileptology - for example in the form of holding scientific meetings, national and international courses, dissemination of knowledge and evidence via the website. Profits in DES can go to congress participation • to facilitate the recruitment of doctors and researchers for epileptology • to stimulate epileptological research - for example by announcing local lecture competitions on the association's website, establishing and maintaining research circles • to collaborate with the Epilepsy Association • to be a guarantor of development and quality
