The European Society for Neurochemistry (ESN) was founded in 1976 with the objectives to advance Neurochemistry for the public benefit and to promote the development of Neurochemistry in Europe. ESN is a learned society for neurochemists and neuroscientists from Europe whose research concerns the role and interactions of small molecules in the function and pathology of the nervous system. ESN is a sister society of the International Society for Neurochemistry (ISN) and a member of FENS. European Society for Neurochemistry (ESN) is a scientific society with the aim: 1. to advance Neurochemistry for the public benefit 2. to promote the development of Neurochemistry in Europe 3. to promote young neurochemists
