French Society of Inherited Metabolic Diseases or Societé Française de l'Etude des erreurs Innées du Métabolisme is the learned society bringing together all health professionals working for the diagnosis and management of hereditary metabolic diseases (HHM). The aim of this clinical-biological society is: • To enable active exchanges between the different professionals involved in the diagnosis, treatment, follow-up and research in IEM • To set up a strategy for education and training in the constantly evaluative field of IEM • To sustain all actions that may help individual training of clinicians, scientists, dieticians and paramedicals who, within a working group, have decided to specialize in IEM.
