The German Society for Pediatric Surgery or Deutsche Gesellschaft für Kinderchirurgie (DGKCH) found din 1964, is the scientific society of physicians who in Germany in specialist pediatric surgery are active. The organization represents the interests of pediatric surgery in scientific, technical and professional matters. Goals of DGKCH are: 1. representing and promoting pediatric surgery in all scientific, technical and professional matters to the outside world, as well as fostering cooperation among the members, 2. developing the basis for the best possible pediatric surgical care and ensuring that it is implemented contribute, 3. enter into close cooperation with interest groups associated with pediatric surgery.
