German Society of Neuropathology and Neuroanatomy (or) Deutsche Gesellschaft für Neuropathologie und Neuroanatomie e.V. founded in 1950, has represented the common interests of neuropathologists at numerous (inter) national locations. The society has around 300 members at home and abroad (mainly doctors and scientists) ensuring the diagnosis and research of diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system as well as the skeletal muscles. DGNN provides essential diagnostic and scientific partner for all "neuro" subjects (neurosurgery, neurology, psychiatry, neuroradiology, neuropediatrics), by promoting basic, advanced and advanced training for interns and specialists in neuropathology.
