Groupe Francophone d'Hepatologie Gastroenterologie et Nutrition Pediatrique (GFHGNP) was founded in 1987 on the initiative of a group of French gastropediatricians quickly joined by their colleagues from Belgium, Switzerland, the Maghreb, etc. Currently the group includes nearly 360 members from ten different countries working in the fields of gastroenterology, hepatology and pediatric nutrition. It brings together liberal doctors, hospital doctors in general and university hospitals and aims to open up to para-medical caregivers (dietitians, speech therapists, IDEs, psychologists, etc.) The missionsof the GFHGNP are: 1. Disseminate knowledge in the fields of hepatic and digestive pathologies in children 2. Promote exchanges and sharing of experience between caregivers in these areas 3. Contribute to the training of caregivers and young pediatricians 4. Support research programs through joint projects and young researchers
