The Hellenic Pediatric Society was founded in 1931, was established for the promotion of pediatrics at all and the closer association of doctors practicing this field of medicine in particular. The Hellenic Pediatric Society has an active role in the International circles of scientific activity and is an active and vital member of the following associations: • World Pediatric Society (IPA) • Association of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern Pediatric Societies (UMEMPS) • European Pediatric Society (EPA / UNEPSA) and • European Academy of Pediatrics (EAP / CESP)
