Latin American Society of Pediatric Radiology (or) Sociedad Latino Americana De Radiología Pediátrica (SLARP) is a professional medical organization dedicated to promoting patient health care through Imaging diagnosis and treatment in the perinatal period, in infants, children and adolescents.

SLARP disseminates information and education for all healthcare providers using Imaging techniques. Through its annual course and providing information to local and international medical and technical organizations that have the responsibility and authority for the development of procedure guides and algorithms for the study of images in pediatric patient.

Objectives of the Society:
1. Organize and bring together pediatric radiologists from Latin America
2. Tend to its development and scientific progress
3. Contribute to the progress of the specialty in conjunction with other branches of radiology and pediatrics
4. Provide advice in the preparation of training programs for the specialty at the request of the relevant agencies
5. Promote and disseminate education and scientific research for the improvement of partners
6. Foster relationships with other Pediatric Radiology Societies in the rest of the world.
