The Movement Disorder Society of Australia and New Zealand (MDSANZ) charters to facilitate and promote education and research in all aspects of movement disorders, from basic science to medical and non-medical therapeutics. MDSANZ plays a key role in the link between knowledge and practice. It achieves this through the interpretation of new diagnostic information and the development of pharmacological and neurosurgical treatments for movement disorders, as we build a greater understanding of impaired motor control function to deliver better health outcomes for the Australian and world communities.
