Romanian Society of Pediatrics (or) Societatea Română de Pediatrie was founded in 1926 with a purpose to create an adequate organizational framework for specialists in the field of pediatrics and for other specialists whose concerns are related to pediatrics, in order to raise the professional and scientific level of the Romanian school of pediatrics and continuous improvement of pediatric care. The Romanian Society of Pediatrics wants to establish a close connection between all those who deal with the upbringing, care and physical and mental health of children.
