Saudi Pediatric Association (SPA) was founded in 1981, as a scientific association under the umbrella of Riyadh University (currently King Saud University) working towards excellence in pediatric medical knowledge, practice & services. Vision and Mission: The SPA aims to pioneer in continuing medical education & research in Pediatrics and providing service to the community through development of professional pediatric practice, health education & child health services. Objectives of SPA The Saudi Pediatric Association (SPA) aims to develop the scientific principles and practice in pediatric specialties. The SPA contributes to the development of professional and clinical skills of pediatricians and other health care professionals in pediatric specialties. The SPA organizes regular continuing medical pediatric educational activities (CME), in the form of pediatric conferences, symposia, workshops and health awareness days. The SPA encourages pediatric research and supports efforts directed to public health education and awareness.
