Society for Pediatric Allergology and Environmental Medicine (or) Gesellschaft für Pädiatrische Allergologie und Umweltmedizin (GPA) objectives are • Representation of the interests of pediatricians working in allergology at the federal level in all matters relating to the clinic and practice. • Promotion of scientific allergology, including the award of the Pediatric Allergology Prize from the GPA. The ten scientific working groups (WAGs) of the GPA coordinate the research activities in their respective areas, • Annual organization of the scientific conference "German Allergy Congress" (together with AeDA and DGAKI), • Promotion of quality assurance in the field of pediatric allergology and environmental medicine, • Publication of the quarterly electronic journal Pädiatrische Allergologie in Klinik and Praxis and the monthly newsletter of the GPA, • Promotion of advanced and advanced training for pediatricians interested in allergology and pneumology within the framework of regional conferences, • Coordination of the extensive training offers of the four regional pediatric-allergological working groups that are united under the umbrella of the GPA, • Cooperation with other organizations in the fields
