Swiss Society for Neuroradiology (or) Schweizerische Gesellschaft für Neuroradiologie was founded in 1989, with great emphasis on the promotion of neuroradiological specialists for radiology, who therefore form a separate section within the society. They hold their conferences in an integrated manner with those of society and organize regular training courses on their own. The SGNR currently (as of April 2020) has a total of 186 members.
