Swiss Society of Clinical Neurophysiology (or) Schweizerische Gesellschaft für klinische Neurophysiologie (SGKN) promotes further training for specialists in the areas of EEG, ENMG and cerebrovascular sonography. SGKN is the association of all doctors who deal with the electrophysiological examination of the brain and nerves, as well as the blood vessels that supply the brain. Most of the members are neurologists who have acquired one or more of the proficiency certificates, which enable them to carry out these special examinations skillfully. The SGKN works closely with the Swiss Neurological Society (SNG) and the Swiss Institute for Medical Education to promote further training for specialists in the fields of electroencephalography (EEG), electroneuromyography (ENMG) and cerebrovascular sonography and to guarantee this at a high level of quality - and advanced training (SIWF) or its parent company FMH together.
