Turkish Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition established in 1992 at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine by Prof. Dr. It was founded by Ender Pehlivanoğlu and his friends under the name of “Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition Association”. In the following years, the association was opened to everyone working in the field of pediatric gastroenterology, and its name was changed to "Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition Association" in accordance with the "European Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition" in the general assembly meeting held in 2006. The main purpose of the association is to contribute to human health. It is the main duty of the country's healthcare professionals to increase their knowledge and experience in the field of childhood digestive system, liver and nutritional diseases and to maximize the health of our children.
